About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and those exhibiting challenging behaviours. You will be providing both one-to-one and group support, helping to create a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages every child to reach their full potential. • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and SEMH needs.

• Relevant qualifications or experience in education or SEN (desirable but not essential).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and challenging behaviours.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering individual education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring that each child feels supported.
• Help with classroom management and organization, ensuring students are engaged.
• Support with personal care when required, always maintaining a high level of respect and sensitivity.
