The Role
As a Civil Works Labourer, you will play a key role in creating access and laying underground cabling, operating machinery, and ensuring all construction activities adhere to safety regulations. Working individually or as part of a team, you will contribute to efficient and effective project completion. You will ensure that all work aligns with company policies and legal requirements, particularly the Electricity Act and the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the safety and functionality of our facilities while enhancing service delivery to our clients.
What You'll Need
* Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery, especially with experience in digging.
* Strong physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, particularly related to the Electricity Act and the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015.
* Ability to maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to PPE requirements.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Class 1 and 2 ideal).
