Contract Options are in partnership with a leading Film & TV facilities company based in Iver to recruit Class 1 HGV Drivers. This unique opportunity lets you work behind the scenes in the entertainment industry, delivering crucial equipment to set locations.
The Role
Transporting American Trailers/Caravans to film locations and assisting with basic setup, including connecting water and electrical supply. There is no multi-drop or heavy lifting involved!
The Duties
* Safe transportation: Deliver trailers and equipment to locations on time and in excellent condition.
* Vehicle maintenance: Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
* Compliance: Adhere to transport regulations, driver hours, speed limits, and company standards.
* Load management: Ensure loads are attached/loaded securely before driving.
* Reporting: Maintain records and report any incidents or delays.
* Health & Safety: Follow H&S guidelines for a safe working environment.
* Team Support: Work with on-site teams for smooth operations.
The Pay Rates
* PAYE Only: Flat £21.85 per hour
* Weekly Pay: Processed in arrears by Friday 4pm
* Minimum Hours: 8 hours per shift guaranteed
* Training: Paid on-site training before starting shifts
The Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 Licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho Card.
* No more than 6 points on your licence.
* Must be over 25 years old due to insurance requirements.
* At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
* Meet agency and client professionalism expectations.
