Duties
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a PRODUCTION PLANNER to join our Middlesbrough Team.
Reporting to the Partner Manager, you will provide effective and accurate coordination of the production planning to provide the fulfilment of warehousing and transport operations for key customers and 3rd party contracts. This will ensure that all business KPIs required for contracts and 3rd party partners are achieved and the needs of the related business units and stakeholders are met.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* Support all aspects of production planning & administration for the Veolia contract, covering sales orders, procurement, warehousing, and distribution activities across both Veolia SAP & Univar SAP.
* Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are achieved.
* Ensure effective and timely customer service through verbal collaboration in the office, phone calls, instant messaging, and e-mails.
* Recommend continuous improvement and ways to reduce operating costs wherever possible.
* Ensure effective control of stock and costs.
* Support the investigation and administration of customer complaints.
* Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, quality procedures, GDP policies and procedures, and insurance requirements.

* The successful candidate should have good numeracy and statistics skills and must have excellent knowledge of Excel and SAP.
* Flexibility is required to meet the varying tasks that the role requires.
* The ability to prioritise work and display a high level of attention to detail.

* The capability to follow procedures and propose continuous improvements.
