RC Frame Site Manager Cardiff, Wales £60k - £65k package Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RC Frame Site Manager to work on a new build hospital project in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing RC frame projects, strong leadership capabilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the RC frame project, ensuring all activities are aligned with the project plan, scope, and timelines. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site engineers, and workforce to ensure smooth project execution, quality control, and safety compliance. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety checks and toolbox talks. Monitor the quality of construction to meet design specifications and building standards, performing site inspections and resolving any issues that arise. Develop detailed work programs and monitor progress against project milestones, reporting regularly to senior management on the project's status. Work with quantity surveyors and the project team to manage project costs, track variations, and ensure that projects are delivered within budget. Address and resolve any construction issues on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the schedule. Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and consultants to ensure a collaborative and transparent approach throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure proper documentation of work completed, including daily reports, site diaries, and any required project documentation. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager on RC Frame projects, ideally with medium to large-scale developments. Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete frame construction techniques, methods, and best practices. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields (CIOB, SMSTS, or equivalent certifications are desirable). Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently. A comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations, health and safety protocols, and industry standards. Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Experience with cost management, programme management, and working to strict deadlines. Full UK driving license and the ability to work on-site in Cardiff.
