An exciting new vacancy has arisen aligned to the continued growth of our Company for the role of: FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT - IRVINE Requirements: To carry out mechanical fitting activities associated with the overhaul, repair, testing of rotating equipment, Pumps, Gearboxes, hydro turbines, electric motors and valves in accordance with the Trillium HSEQ management system and customer specific HSEQ requirements both on site and in the workshop. General Information In order to meet operational requirements extended weekday and weekend working, at short notice will be required. In accordance with Trillium policy, medical or drugs and alcohol testing may be required. Your normal base hours of work are 37 hours per week embedded on a site in Irvine. However, there may be a requirement, for you to undertake jobs off site which may involve travel to attend customer sites throughout the UK or overseas to support in maintenance/outage duties. These hours may differ from your contracted hours and may also include working on statutory holidays or working away from home for longer periods of time. Site work around the UK outwith the site at Irvine is typically working 10/12-hour shifts and working every second weekend during outage periods. Due to the geographical nature of our customers, when requested to attend these sites, extended time away from home will be required and follows the typical working pattern outlined above. When travelling, it will predominantly entail maintenance/repairs, outages and/or external customer requirements, it is essential that you are prepared to locate to an external customer site, as and when required and if necessary, at extremely short notice, to complete a task off-site, working to the hours required by the site manager. We will however endeavour, in the first instance, to deploy you to the closest site available. Depending on the duration of the work and the distance from base, working on sites may require overnight stays. Job Knowledge / Qualifications / Personal Attributes: Time served craftsperson in an appropriate engineering discipline Experience of having worked within General engineering, WwTW and Power Industries Flexibility to work in both the UK and overseas Contractors Safety Passport (CCNSG) Card or Country Specific Safety Passport Card Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance Current UK Passport and Valid Driving License are required. Must be an excellent communicator across various management and experience levels.
