We are delighted to share that we are searching for a Day Operator to join our team at Glenkinchie Distillery!
Salary of £34,503.66 which includes a competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus!

About the role
Main responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring site hygiene is maintained to a high standard
2. Compliance checks across your working area
3. Spirit tankers are loaded safely and efficiently
4. Supporting with various site daily tasks.
5. Operation of Bioplant, to ensure compliance of distillery effluent with legislative standards (SEPA)
6. Operation of aerobic digestion plant within consent
7. Support operations of environmental plants and systems
8. Review and report on analytical data to ensure plants operate within consents.
9. Health and safety compliance is key and as a Day Operator, you will be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored and improved, while driving delivery of site targets.
Ultimately, being a source of advice, knowledge, and having the confidence to lead operations is the pinnacle of the day to day ways of working in this exciting role.
About You

The successful candidate will have a positive can do demeanour, and the ability to make decisions fast, while dealing with high pressure situations and problem solving. Having highly effective Interpersonal communication skills will support you to carry out this role.
You will have initiative to share your own ideas about continuous improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. Striving to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence will serve you well within this role.
