What you need to know about the role As a Business Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering business tasks within a large technology re-platforming programme of work. Work includes co-ordinating with the programme steering committee regarding strategy decisions, user acceptance testing, leading the operational rollout. Responsibilities: Lead the migration to new digital software and services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Define, plan, and manage the scope of change, including business process updates, data migration, testing, and training. Develop and own the business delivery plan, including project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Identify and mitigate potential risks (e.g., data loss, system downtime). Manage key stakeholders across IT, business functions, and senior management, ensuring clear communication and prompt issue resolution. Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), incorporating user feedback to drive necessary adjustments. Lead business change management, including user communication, training, and documentation. Monitor post-migration system performance, provide ongoing support, and identify improvement opportunities. Maintain transparency through effective planning and progress reporting. Proactively solve problems and find creative solutions to keep projects on track. Lead the launch of digital products, ensuring successful business and technical delivery. About You: Ability to work in a collaborative and flexible way within a diverse team, including technical and business users, internal and external suppliers Able to simply explain complex problems and switch between technical conversations and high level "storytelling" depending on audience Strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyse complex scenarios Commitment to service, completing tasks and to meeting challenging deadlines. Emotional intelligence - Critical for navigating complex stakeholder relationships and managing any tensions or conflicts that arise. The candidate should demonstrate self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to understand and manage emotions in both themselves and others. Proven background on delivering large scale programmes for the business. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy regarding quality of own work and presentation is essential. Organised with ability to multi-task, prioritise, work quickly and to tight deadlines. Self-starter - able to independently run and prioritise your own workload daily and be accountable for owning and delivering work to completion. Continuous improvement mindset.
