Working as part of a busy incident team, to provide Service Desk IT support both locally and remotely across the entire estate.
What You'll Do:
Key responsibilities will include:
* Receive, log, monitor and respond in a timely manner to Service Requests across all communication channels.
* Take end to end ownership of Service Records, making sure all relevant stakeholders are adequately informed of actions undertaken.
* Ensure the Service Desk Incident Management System is kept up to date at all times.
* Escalate complex and high priority Service Records to both internal and external teams in line with agreed processes.
* Provide a customer-centric interface for users of IT systems and external parties where applicable.
* Keep abreast of any new technologies that may be implemented by the business to maintain expert knowledge to uphold ability to provide support.
* Provide support of IT projects as and when required.
* Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior members of staff within IT as required
What We're Looking For:
* 1+ year working in an IT support provision
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suites
* Support level knowledge of various Windows operating systems (10, 11, Server 2012 and above)
* Basic knowledge of how to troubleshoot network infrastructure issues (WAN, LAN etc.)
* Previous experience working in a customer facing role
* Demonstrable analytical approach to problem solving
* Excellent written and verbal communicative skills
* Full clean driving license
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365
* Knowledge of VMware
* Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016 and above
* ITIL exposure and awareness
