The successful candidate needs to be an articulate and influential communicator, have proven financial management skills, possess excellent numeracy and literacy skills and the ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders in the school – children, staff, parents and governors.
Responsibilities
* General school office administration
* Aspects of HR management: including adherence to robust recruitment procedures and processing of staff contracts, absence and overtime/expense claims
* Management of the school budget and school finances
* Procurement management: including processing orders and invoices in line with established financial procedures
* Compiling and monitoring Health and Safety reports, liaising with contractors and supporting with day to day health and safety matters.
* Administering medication and first aid to pupils and acting as the First Aid at work representative.

The hours of work are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm, term time only (190 days). You may also be required to work some ad-hoc days, such as INSET days and/or days within the school holidays should the need arise.
The full-time equivalent pay (£24,040) is based on Kent Range 5, this equates to £19,057 per annum (this is the pro rata amount).
