About Us: Our Pupil Referral Unit in Erdington are looking for an inclusion manager. For this role your duties will entail carrying out interventions, managing behaviour of the students and carrying out school inductions.
Role Overview: We seek a passionate Inclusion Lead to promote inclusive practices, support student well-being, and ensure tailored support for every student.
Key Responsibilities:
* Making sure students get the support they need to fully engage with lessons.
* Working closely with subject teachers to provide the right help for students in class.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and connecting with students to spark their interest in reading.
* Using Teams and Excel to track and record student progress.
* Taking part in management meetings to help create a supportive and positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant degree or professional qualification.
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within a PRU.
* Knowledge of inclusive education practices, SEND, and safeguarding.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
* Commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in education.
