Our client is an SME (£20m turnover) organisation in the transport / logistics sector. The business has seen significant year-on-year growth and plans to increase turnover by 10% next year.
Job Description
* Conducting detailed financial analysis and creating regular financial reports.
* Guiding cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
* Improving financial status by analysing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
* Working closely with management team to understand revenue and cost drivers.
* Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
* A relevant qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or be qualified by experience.
* Relevant experience gained in a similar Finance Analyst / business partnering role.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases and financial software applications.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
