Location(s): Leeds, Bristol, Edinburgh and Halifax
Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

A varied role working in an award-winning, fast-paced, and innovative team. Reporting into the Group Proposition Lead for Next Gen Talent, this role provides a unique view into how we design, market, recruit, induct and develop industry-leading Next Gen Talent programmes including graduate, apprentice, placement programmes as well as our school engagement strategy & ecosystem.
We are looking for someone who can manage the ambitious Next Generation Talent delivery plan, working cross team to pull all workstreams into one place and ensuring coordinated, smooth delivery across our team. The successful candidate will also be a driving force for delivering enhancements to the customer/colleague experience for the graduate & undergraduate programmes. All contributing to making Lloyds Banking Group an employer of choice for Next Gen Talent and building strong talent pipelines for our business.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Oversight
* Create and maintain detailed project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables for activities such as induction, development events, cohort engagement activities, and roll-off processes.
* Establish effective reporting on KPIs for key stakeholders.
* Coordinate our NGT impact reporting to tell a complete story of the impact of our proposition. YTD we have impacted almost 120,000 young people internally and externally.
* Work with Group Proposition lead to optimise team resource and budget associated with programme delivery.
* Coordinate with key internal stakeholders (including Next Gen Talent partners, recruitment, Learning) to ensure alignment and successful execution of all activities.
* Work with the team to identify delivery risks and get mitigation strategies in place. Adjust project plans as necessary to accommodate changes in business needs or participant requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement in the planning and execution of activities, ensuring the programmes evolve in line with best practices and organisational goals and that effective retrospectives are undertaken.
* A successful candidate is likely to be experienced in both waterfall and agile project management.
On Programme Experience Delivery
* You will focus on optimising the on-programme experience, from induction to development and through to programme completion, ensuring that our early careers talent has a strong foundation and clear pathway within the organisation.
* Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of key activities related to the Next Gen Talent programmes, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope.
* Lead the on-programme experience for Next Generation Talent, ensuring their journey is seamless and aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
* Implement effective listening strategies to ensure we continue to put colleague experience at the heart of what we do when making enhancements to our offering.
* Regularly review and improve the development and training framework, ensuring it meets both individual and business needs.
* Manage key milestones of the programme (e.g., rotations, performance reviews) to track and enhance progress.
* Foster a strong sense of community and belonging among Next Generation Talent cohorts, encouraging networking and collaboration.
* Ensure Line Managers are well-equipped with training, tools, and guidance to support and develop Next Gen Talent within their teams.
* Support next gen talent transitioning off the programme by assisting them in securing permanent roles within the organisation and making sure they are fully prepared for their next career step.
What you’ll need
* Project management experience.
* Experience in looking at and designing colleague experience.
* Experience in designing talent management programmes.
* Personal line management or team leadership experience.
* Excellent stakeholder skills, confident in interacting with senior stakeholders.
And any experience of these would be really useful
* Experience in designing early careers talent programmes.
