We are seeking a Junior Telephony and AV Technician to join our small and busy End User Computing team. This role involves administrating the Cisco desk telephone system, supporting both desk and mobile phone handsets, and maintaining AV meeting room equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and technical proficiency, particularly in telephony and AV systems. Day-to-day of the role: Administer the Cisco desk telephone system, including deployment and collection of desk phones, and managing Jabber phone accounts. Provide support for Cisco video conferencing systems across 30 AV meeting rooms, including conducting daily morning checks. Offer technical support for the broadcasting studio, assisting with the recording and broadcasting equipment used for live internal announcements by executive management. Install and support mobile phone applications and hardware for approximately 700 devices (Samsung & iPhone), including BlackBerry Work. Interact daily with users at all levels, including executive management, to resolve issues related to phone and meeting room equipment. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar Telephony and AV Technician role. Strong knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony and video conferencing systems. Experience supporting mobile phones and broadcasting studio equipment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English. Ability to diagnose and quickly resolve hardware component faults independently. Passionate about delivering high-quality IT end-user support.
