Key Responsibilities & Tasks

- Develop, analyse, and generate customised reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and relevance by collaborating with departmental managers.
- Monitor report performance to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Set up and maintain internal and external systems while delivering staff training.
- Liaise with external companies regarding data requests and collections.
- Assist in completing data and funding returns for relevant agencies.
**Main Tasks**
- Collaborate with curriculum leaders to enhance understanding of data processes.
- Innovate management information systems concerning student records and attendance.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to queries related to data services.
- Support the administration of the College's student record database/system.
- Create documentation and training guides for system users.
- Provide training to ensure staff can confidently use the available tools.
Essential Criteria:
* Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in an IT related discipline or has proven professional experience.
* English and maths at Level 2 or above, or willing to work towards.
* At least 2 years’ experience of working in a role related to information systems or preparing statistical reports
* A good working knowledge of the Further Education sector
* Experience in using advanced reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Excel for extracting and presenting data in a user-friendly format
* Recent and relevant experience in the use of educational systems and portal e.g. ALPS, LRS, ESFA Course Directory and Century Tech.
* Excellent organisational skills and abilities.
* A good communicator, with high standards of customer care.
* Able to complete work to deadlines and manage an administrative workload.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
