As a Application Technology Support III team member in Engineering Platforms & Experience team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement as you troubleshoot, maintain, identify, escalate, and resolve production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, leading to a seamless user experience.
Job responsibilities
1. Provides end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery to enable successful business operations of the firm
2. Supports the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s systems to ensure operational stability and availability
3. Assist in the monitoring of production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
4. Identify issues for escalation and communication, and provide solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
5. Analyze complex situations and trends to anticipate and solve incident, problem, and change management in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure.
6. Collaborate with development and operation teams to ensure smooth software releases and deployments.
7. Monitor system performance and identify areas to improve in terms of efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
8. Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution to ensure proper configuration management and version control practices.
9. Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
10. Hand on experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
11. Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
12. Experience in observability and monitoring tools and techniques
13. Exposure to processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
14. Expertise in a development language such as Java or Python or scripting languages such as Java Script, Bash or PowerShell.
15. Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.
16. Experience with micro-services, Unix, Linux
17. Experience of Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, Test Driven Development etc)
18. Experience in a DevOps or support role, working with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.
19. Hands-On knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
20. Participate in weekends on call support, on rotation basis.

21. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
22. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
23. Experience in data mining and querying against databases
24. Experience and comfortable working in a high paced dynamic environment
