Hiring Now: Office Administrator - Construction Sector
£14.57 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Chorley, PR6 (Office-based)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
Start Date: ASAP - ideally this week
Contract: Temp to perm - 3-month temp contract, with the opportunity to go permanent after 3 months (subject to mutual agreement)
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive Office Administrator with a strong customer focus to join a small but busy office in the construction sector. If you thrive in a role where you're on the phones a lot, have excellent communication skills, and can handle tasks independently, this could be the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handling customer calls - strong telephone skills required
2. Raising purchase orders
3. Using Xero (experience preferred but not essential)
4. General admin duties to support the team
Ideal Candidate
1. Background in the construction sector (preferred)
2. Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
3. Organised and detail-oriented
4. Comfortable working in a small team
