We seek a detail-oriented problem solver who identifies issues and develops innovative solutions to join a highly motivated team of engineers working remotely on technically challenging projects in collaboration with our highly focused product management teams. Your work will enhance our platform and create delightful experiences for our users. You’ll report directly to our Head of Core Platform.

You'll be up-to-date with industry and technology trends and passionate about well-designed, structured code. A commitment to standards, testing, and following best practice processes is critical.

Key responsibilities:
* Support the business by delivering out-of-roadmap priorities
* Facilitate and support product launches
* Implement platform improvements and optimisations
* Uphold standards by producing clean, well-documented, and easily maintainable code.
* Use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and rectify application issues, understand the underlying causes, and devise comprehensive solutions.
* Stay at the forefront of your field by keeping abreast of emerging trends and technologies.
Skills and experience:
* At least 3 years of full-stack development experience using PHP, Typescript, Laravel, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js, React.js.
* Practical experience with PHP 8.2 and Laravel 9+, emphasising a DevOps mindset, including observability, monitoring, and alerts.
* Proficiency in working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot application issues and understand their underlying causes.
* Ability to work independently and in a team, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or other structure-based CSS standards, such as BEM and SMACSS.
* A passion for following best practices and high standards in coding.
