You will be an advocate of the importance of lived experience and co-production, primarily focusing on building the volunteer workforce. Initially a fixed term contract for 12 months with the intention to extend subject to evaluation and funding.
Working in conjunction with colleagues you will be responsible for supporting a range of community initiatives, including maintaining a positive service user experience, volunteer training and supervision, and the monitoring and updating of community information.
You will be expected to use dynamic approaches to reduce stigma and improve community engagement in supporting visible recovery; using an asset-based approach and contributing to various information streams, including social media and performance reports. You will be proficient in leading and developing groups and community events.
A skilled communicator, ideally you will have demonstrable community development experience working with marginalised client groups, a ‘can do’ attitude, and a strong desire to promote inclusion. You will be joining a vibrant and progressive service, with excellent training and development opportunities. We look forward to hearing from you!
