Join Our Team as a Hygiene and Laundry Specialist!
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hygiene and Laundry Specialist. As a member of our care home, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the facility.
This role involves providing thorough cleaning services, implementing hygienic work practices, and managing laundry services. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the care home remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
* Domestic Cleaning: Clean various areas of the care home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.
* Hygiene Practices: Implement all hygienic work practices to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
* Floor Care: Clean and protect various floor surfaces, including carpets and hard floors.
* Furniture and Fixtures: Maintain cleanliness of furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings.
* Sanitary Maintenance: Clean and replenish sanitary fixtures and fittings to keep them hygienic.
* Waste Management: Remove refuse regularly and ensure proper disposal.
* Vertical Surfaces: Clean vertical surfaces safely without using access equipment.
* Resident Support: Assist with the daily well-being of residents, helping them adapt to their new environment.
* Laundry Services: Manage laundry efficiently, following guidance and ensuring personal belongings are safe and correctly labelled.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety protocols, infection prevention measures, and fire safety regulations within the laundry and care home.
* Team Collaboration: Work with other staff to ensure effective laundry services and overall cleanliness.
