Job Title: Senior FP&A and Treasury Analyst

The Opportunity
This role, which reports to the Head of FP&A and Treasury, will be involved in projects aligned to the finance and corporate strategy supporting finance transactions, debt restructures, fundraising, investor due diligence, and treasury management, preparing financial information for board meetings and investors, forecasting liquidity needs and covenants. Also, will support providing ad-hoc financial analysis requested by the manager and CFO.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
* Supporting the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to executive leadership team and board.
* Helping prepare reports for banks, lenders and other external stakeholders.
* Delivery of business intelligence dashboards for internal stakeholders to facilitate the effective management and decisions within the business, focusing on liquidity management, and key metrics around our debt structure/ securitisation.
Financial Analysis
* Supporting interaction with commercial functions to get insights and be able to maximise revenue and unit economics.
* Developing models for financial covenants to ensure the organisation meets external obligations.
* Tracking metrics around our securitisation and provide insights and analysis on the main variables affecting our cost of funds and how to reduce or optimise it in the short and long term.
* Developing a sophisticated pricing model reflecting main variables affecting our cost of funds.
Treasury and Liquidity Management
* Working with the Head of FP&A and Treasury and the CFO to support the documentation, monitoring and controls around cash and liquidity management.
* Developing robust liquidity and debt models and forecasting that allows the business to make decisions on funding.
* Developing opportunities to optimise the company’s working capital and capital structure.
* Assisting the Head of FP&A and Treasury and CFO in optimising the funding strategy for the business.
* Helping the CFO on the next fundraising by providing information, reports, KPIs, documentation, etc regarding investor’s due diligence.
Others
* Provide data and analysis to the manager for the assessment of the viability of different projects (new products, new geographies, new business lines, etc) and develop robust reporting around the project.
* Liaise and interact with lenders to negotiate better terms and conditions for Sonovate.
* Provide feedback and analysis on legal contracts signed with our counterparties.
To be considered for the role you require:
* Proven experience in a finance role or financial institution focusing on strategic finance or capital markets with a keen interest in FinTech
* Knowledge of SQL & VBA preferred as well as experience with Netsuite and Snowflake.
* Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical skills and modelling capability
* Ability to communicate finance concepts to non-finance managers
* A pro-active, independent and structured way of working and enjoy working in an international team
