Here are some of the benefits we offer that make working for Gist just that little bit more special… 20% M&S discount on most things from furniture, fashion and food 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (rising with length of service) Discounted rates on healthcare cash plan Private Medical Healthcare Attractive annual bonus scheme, based on M&S performance and personal objectives Auto Enrolment Pension or competitive Defined Contribution Pension Scheme and life assurance (up to 4 times salary) Access to a wide range of wellbeing support – including our Employee Assistance Programme A first-class welcome with a tailored induction and a wide range of training schemes to help with your learning and development Cycle to work scheme Role details: Salary: Up to £51,500 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Working pattern: Monday to Friday Location: UK Based with Travel What you’ll do: Ensure that proposed technology and building specifications adhere to current engineering policies, engineering standards and the defined Net Carbon Zero strategy Support the Lead Engineering Manager with all project processes up to and through feasibility, concept, RFI and tender phases, and manage delivery of projects on time, to cost, to meet statutory and engineering standards Supervise the completeness of installation by the project delivery team comprising of technical suppliers & building contractors Communicate progress of the capital projects to the site engineering team to maintain the required site engagement & buy in Identify & organise the training programme for the site engineering team for the maintenance and overhaul of the new installations Who you are: A recognised engineering qualification (degree level) OR An equivalent qualification in engineering (non-degree) with time spent learning on the job (5 years) OR A non-engineering degree level graduate, with relevant and transferable experience (through an engineering company or equivalent) Demonstratable analysis and problem-solving capabilities Good presentation, communication, and strong decision-making skills 2-5 years’ experience within an FMCG / retail / manufacturing or logistics company Recognised project management skills Highly motivated by the challenge of continuous improvement and value engineering required for project delivery Self-motivated individual who champions breakthrough ideas and initiatives - confronts & works to resolve tough issues Effective and clear communication (written & verbal) to influence peer group/senior management Why Gist?
