Following a recent restructure, our IT team is looking for an IT Asset Manager. The main focus of the role will be to ensure that college software and hardware asset management and licensing processes are meticulously established and followed.
This is a great opportunity to lead a new IT Asset function by introducing new ITIL / ITSM processes, transforming it from a reactive to a proactive function.
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, the ability to ‘get stuck in’, and have a real desire to improve auditing processes related to the college’s hardware and software assets. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively to deadlines are essential.
An in-depth knowledge of college systems isn’t required, as long as the candidate has the skills and ability to motivate and support IT colleagues in enhancing IT auditing services.
You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 2nd February 2025.
You can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle-to-work scheme, free on-site parking, generous pension, 35 days holiday plus bank holidays, time off at Christmas, early finishes on a Friday and the opportunity to work from home.WHC Group is positive about disabled people.
