The Job
The People Co-Ordinator provides administrative support to the People department, ensuring the efficient running of People operations. The role involves handling employee queries, maintaining People records, supporting with the onboarding of new joiners, and assisting with recruitment and training processes.
HR Administration:
1. Maintain employee records and update People databases (e.g., attendance, annual leave).
2. Prepare and issue People-related documents such as contracts, letters, and forms.
3. Ensure all employee information is accurate and confidential.
Recruitment Support:
1. Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and processing applications.
2. Conduct reference checks and ensure all necessary pre-employment documents are received.
3. Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing induction materials.
Employee Relations:
1. Handle employee queries on People policies and procedures.
2. Support the People team with disciplinary and grievance procedures when needed.
3. Help with organising employee engagement activities.
Training and Development:
1. Assist in coordinating training sessions and maintaining training records.
2. Track mandatory training requirements and completion.
Compliance and Reporting:
1. Ensure compliance with company policies.
2. Assist with preparing reports related to People metrics, such as turnover rates and absence records.
Other Duties:
1. Support People projects as required.
2. Assist with payroll processing, such as checking leave records.
Experience: Previous administrative experience, preferably within a People/HR environment.
Skills:
1. Strong organisational and time management skills.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Working Conditions:
