We have a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Countryside & Greenspace Officer to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
We are looking for an effective leader of the countryside and greenspace team who can support the delivery of strategies, plans and interventions to achieve sustainability and increase biodiversity.
The successful candidate must have the drive and passion to ensure our greenspaces are great places to visit whilst increasing spaces for nature to thrive.
This role will have the responsibility to manage the Countryside & Greenspace Team whilst keeping a keen eye on grant possibilities and national strategies.
You must be committed to maintaining the highest possible standards whilst overseeing capital and revenue budgets. In all aspects you must be an advocate for the great countryside, green and blue spaces that Stockton-on-Tees has to offer.
