Sound like you? You could be the headline act to take on the Head of Events role for Mecca Bingo, reporting into our Marketing Director. Delivering exceptional events across out 50 location in the UK, you will own the plan and deliver ongoing growth over the next 5 year, ensuring our customer experience is second to none. You will be: Creating and owning the events plan for the year, ensuring a broad spectrum of regular events activity across our 50 venues. Building a strong portfolio of 3rd party events providers who work with us to deliver the highest quality events possible, ensuring we stay up to date with current trends to ensure we maximise every event opportunity. Responsible for negotiation of terms, contracts and tours with 3rd party agencies, as well as prospecting for new and upcoming talent. Owning the relationship between support office and our Operational Regional Managers, General Managers and Assistant Managers, to ensure the best collaboration. Working with the wider Marketing team (including Acquisition, PR & Social, Brand, Digital and CRM) to maximise event revenue; to deliver budgeted profit for Mecca Events. This includes signing off marketing collateral produced. Ensuring the customer journeys for all marketing activity, sales, promotion and the execution of events meet the standards required for the business. Qualifications Proven experience in event & production sector, preferably with a focus on supporting third-party events. Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing to effectively promote tours and events. Strong Leadership, organisational and planning skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals and lead your Team to deliver the events strategy. Strong commercial acumen, able to produce senior stakeholder reporting and projections in conjunction with the finance teams. Passionate about delivering new customer experiences with a focus on customer satisfaction, committed to providing an unrivalled customer experience.
