About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director to join RTN Mental Health Solutions. This pivotal role will shape the strategic direction of our clinical services, driving excellence in ADHD and Autism care. You will provide leadership across clinical teams, ensure compliance with clinical governance standards, and contribute to the growth and operational effectiveness of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
* Drive service innovation and improvement within ADHD and Autism services.
* Collaborate with the SLT to align clinical priorities with commercial goals.
* Identify growth opportunities and contribute to financial and business planning.
Clinical Governance & Quality Assurance
* Oversee assessment processes ensuring evidence-based, high-quality care.
* Maintain clinical compliance with NICE, NHS, and legal guidance.
* Lead clinical audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
Leadership & Team Management
* Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary clinical team.
* Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
* Lead recruitment and performance management of clinical staff.
Operational & Financial Management
* Monitor clinical KPIs and optimise clinical resource allocation.
* Collaborate with operational teams to improve patient pathways and reduce waiting times.
* Ensure clinical services are both high-quality and financially sustainable.
Stakeholder Engagement & External Relations
* Act as the clinical voice in business development conversations.
* Develop relationships with NHS leads and regulatory bodies.
* Represent RTN at professional events and policy forums (if applicable).
About You
Essential
* 8+ years post-qualification experience with expertise in ADHD and Autism assessment and treatment.
* Demonstrated clinical leadership and experience managing both child and adult services.
* Proven ability to work at SLT and board level.
* Qualified Clinical Psychologist (DClinPsy), Psychiatrist or Paediatrician with full registration.
* Strong team leadership, mentorship, and service development experience.
* Expertise in evidence-based diagnostic tools (e.g. ADOS, ADI-R, Conners).
* Commercial awareness with financial and operational planning skills.
* Commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and ongoing improvement.
Desirable
* Experience across both NHS and private sector services.
* Representation in policy discussions, forums or professional conferences.
* Strong network within ADHD and Autism clinical communities.
