This is a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to join one of the world leading leisure and manufacturing brands. They are looking for a Maintenance and Cleaning Operative to take care of their facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
* Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
* Performing preventative maintenance.
* Carry out heavy cleansing tasks (Floor buffing)
* Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
* Carrying out maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks
* Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include painting, repairing doors and other building fixtures.
* Changing light bulbs and ensuring other fixtures and fittings are in good working order
* Minor plumbing and carpentry
* Clearing or cleaning general areas
* Shifting furniture or equipment
* Make adjustments and minor repairs
* Cooperate with the rest of the staff and provide assistance to co-workers when needed
* Follow all health and safety regulations
* Performs additional duties as needed.
* Adhere to company policies
* Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities

Requirements and skills
* Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
* Proven maintenance experience.
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
* Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
* Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
* Experience performing routine maintenance.
* Own car and driving license
* Strong organisational and follow up skills.
* Eye for detail.
* Professional presentation and attitude.
* Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
* Strong time management skills
