Job summary The Financial Services team have a vacancy for a cashier/finance assistant based at our site at St. Mary's Hospital. This is a combined role which would be ideal for a candidate who has experience of customer service and handling cash but would also like the opportunity to gain experience and understanding of finance administration. Main duties of the job To manage the Cash Office at St. Mary's Hospital, issuing cash to colleagues and patients and ensuring cash is reconciled each day. To administer patients' monies. To support the Financial Accountant in ensuring processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner. This will include assisting in the preparation of finance journals to ensure payments to relevant organisations are included on payment runs and maintaining the daily cashbook.
