Our London-based Global, EMEA & UK team comprises c. 60 people, who are dedicated to LEGO’s business, and supported by teams in 55 markets across the world, who are a true extension of our team.
Publicis ONE is looking for a new Associate Director to work on one of our latest and most exciting clients, LEGO. This is an opportunity to work on the leading global toy brand, who are trusted and recognized worldwide – and be a part of a team leading the change and driving business into the future.
Key Responsibilities
Account management
* Support the Account Director in managing the client relationship and delivery of best in class work across planning and account management, and be the main day-to-day contact for the agency with the client teams.
* Support the Account Director in owning and delivering multimarket brief responses and media plans, for LEGO’s global budget initiatives including Sustainability, Education, Digital Consumer Engagement and Game.
* Ensuring accurate and timely delivery amongst the team of projects including Media Guidelines, Monthly Reports, Demand reports, and any ad-hoc requests.
* Ensure that all projects and deliverables are met on time and to the highest standard.
* Support the Account Director in reviewing plans, as well as presenting back to clients.
* Work with the markets and Digital Hub in London to ensure we are delivering connected, smooth and progressive campaigns in all territories, aligning to Global LEGO guidance and best practice.
* Plan, manage and collaborate closely with Investment, Audience & Insights, Offline and Digital teams to plan and activate centrally managed campaigns globally. Typically globally managed campaigns and teams.
* Be comfortable using data to help support in strategic campaign responses across global, and guiding the team.
* Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of client business from current and historical perspectives.
* Be an active participant in helping build the Publicis One team and culture, working across different briefs, brainstorms and plenty of chances to collaborate across the Lego account regionally and globally.
* Manage the Account Manager and two Account Executives' progression and understanding of the account and media planning.
* Supervise and direct the team pulling together competitive analysis and reporting, using data to fuel insights and recommendations for the client.
Responsibilities
The right person will have:
* 5/7+ years’ experience in a media agency, in a local or ideally a multi-market planning role.
* Collaborative mindset and approach, used to managing a team and dotted line reports.
* History managing client relationships.
* Enthusiastic, energetic, able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
* Confident presenting to both internal staff & clients at a high level.
* Inquisitive, with a desire to question, learn, and pick up new skills.
* Enthusiasm for a client’s business and an ability to translate media results into business outcomes for LEGO.
Critical Skills
* Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, and manage LEGO’s matrix marketing organisation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, as you will be dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to think critically and challenge/question assumptions, to ensure the best possible delivery for your client.
* Analytical abilities, use a broad range of analytical approaches and techniques, being able to show your team how to translate data into useful learnings and clear actions.
* Good knowledge of digital and other media.
* Excel and PPT experience mandatory.
