Overview I'm working closely with a business that are looking to add an experienced engineer to their team. The company initiated a £35 million development project in with the first phase, aiming to bolster its distribution capabilities and better serve the local community. You would be a strong member of the engineering team, enabling and supporting ongoing projects and improvements. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to get on to a 4on 4off (2days/2nights) shift. As a multiskilled engineer, you will be joining an experienced and supportive team who have a strong track-record. You will be a key team player in ensuring the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained. What You Need: Electrical & mechanical with relevant qualifications - NVQ / C&G to level 3 standard Proven experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Strong fault-finding & diagnostics skills to resolve breakdowns efficiently. Understanding of compliance with safety and quality standards. Ability to train and develop production staff on first-line maintenance. Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Apply electrical & mechanical engineering skills to diagnose, maintain, and improve factory equipment. Minimize downtime through planned maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Accurately log maintenance activities, including root cause analysis and spare parts usage. Support production teams by ensuring efficient performance of equipment.
