Responsible to: Operations Manager
Do you have construction experience and hands-on management experience?
Key Responsibilities
1. Liaise with the project management teams in weekly project meetings to discuss progress and programmes.
2. Management of raw materials and stock levels.
3. Review all assembly drawings prior to entering the production line for correct measurements and specification.
4. Ensure company assembly procedures are adhered to and developed.
5. Liaise regularly with line managers in relation to labour resources, training, machinery, and any non-conformances.
6. Support weekly progress reports and target advancements on individual projects.
7. Ensure the project progresses in a timely manner and in accordance with project programs and specifications.
8. Manage and schedule workload accordingly in the assembly facilities.
9. Identify skill levels and develop an expanding assembly team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Previous experience as a Mechanical supervisor ideally within construction.
2. Computer skills, including the ability to operate Microsoft Office & Excel.
3. Organise a structured approach to your work.
4. Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied portfolio of work.
5. Full Driving License.
6. Good attendance and timekeeping record.
7. Good interpersonal skills.
8. Self-motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to motivate colleagues, whilst maintaining a high level of productivity.
