Arrest Officer Due to business growth, we are looking for an Arrest Officer to join the team This is a full time, permanent role and will be field based. The Position & Key Responsibilities As an Arrest Officer you will be responsible for the effective and efficient execution of arrest warrants. You will be required to visit customers at the addresses listed on the warrants to carry out the Court's instructions, either through payment, planned surrender, or arrest and transport. You will also be required to conduct inquiries to locate the defendants named on the warrant. You must be prepared to meet the warrant's requirements and attend the warrant address at various times and days. What you will be doing Where necessary, arrange planned surrenders or convey persons named on the warrants to courts, police stations or HMP. To issue receipts for all payments received and to inform courts of all payments taken. To complete all necessary paperwork and update handheld devices on actions taken. To ensure post incident procedures are followed. To carry out any other tasks as required in connection with the service, execution or return of warrants, summonses, orders, and notices, including obtaining and reporting information regarding the customer and/or the actions taken in executing a warrant. Be prepared to work warrants within Regions across England to meet client demands. Person Specification Articulate, numerate and able to communicate and interact with others at all levels. High level of self-motivation and the ability to work between the hours of 6am and 9pm, hours will vary dependant on the warrant. Ability to manage conflict. Strong team player with the ability to work on own initiative Calm and confident in high-pressure situations Ability to manage and organise large volumes of warrants to meet KPI's. Basic level of IT Ability to act with tolerance, restraint, and resolve.
