About Us
Accord Business Partnerships provides HR, offshore payroll, crew management, and operational support to our clients, with our recruitment arm, Accord People covering subsea and marine recruitment. Our newly launched ship management arm offers full ship management solutions for our clients with offshore vessels.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Account Manager to generate leads, secure new business, and manage client relationships across our recruitment, HR/crew management, and ship management services. This role is crucial in expanding our client base, winning contracts, and ensuring excellent service delivery to our partners.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
* Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients in the marine, offshore, and energy industries.
* Client Introductions & Sales: Secure meetings, present our services, and win contracts.
* Proposal & Tender Support: Assist in preparing competitive proposals and bid submissions.
* Networking & Industry Engagement: Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Account Management
* Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients once contracts are secured.
* Service Delivery Oversight: Ensure seamless delivery of recruitment, HR/crew management, and ship management services.
* Problem-Solving & Client Support: Address client needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Contract Renewals & Upselling: Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients.
Key Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in business development, sales, and account management in the marine, offshore, or energy sectors.
* Strong understanding of recruitment, HR/crew management, and ship management services.
* Ability to win new business and maintain strong client relationships.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Experience with proposal writing, contract management, and service delivery oversight.
* Existing industry network is highly desirable.
