Description
This position will play a critical role in providing financial support for the company’s procurement activities, including understanding their impacts on the financial results of company. This role liaises across multiple functions and coordinates the flow of information between multiple levels of management. This position will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations and Accounting to ensure procurement transactions are accurately planned, approved and reported.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform monthly closing routines, including preparation and posting of regular and ad-hoc journals, reporting of results and account reconciliations.
2. Lead monthly financial performance reviews with the Procurement function, analysing purchase price variances (PPV) and conducting price/volume mix analyses.
3. Lead the development of the monthly performance forecast and conduct financial trend and variance analysis reporting.
4. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget by gathering financial data, supporting the roll up of standard costing and collaborating with the Procurement function to ensure accurate budget planning.
5. Coordinate with Accounts Payable to maintain an efficient and accurateprocure-to-pay process
6. Business partner with the Procurement team to drive high-visibility cash improvement initiativeswhile liaising with the Kraft Heinz central European reporting team.
7. Assist in driving initiatives to bring process improvement opportunities, participating in finance transformation projects focused on automating routine tasks.
8. Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to the Procurement and Supply Chain Finance functions as required.
About you:
9. Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline, complimented by at least two years’ relevant work experience.
10. Experience in a commercial organisation and a financial base gained through work experience.
11. Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects, while effectively operating in a fast-paced, complex global organisation.
12. Management accounting experience.
13. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
14. JDE, BPCS ERP systems experience preferred but not essential.
15. Analytical skills to simplify and present complex data.
16. Effective communication skills across all disciplines and levels.
17. Ability to work under pressure and perseverance to work through issues to resolution.
18. Willingness to liaise and work at operational level, and manage upwards at a more senior level
