Letham Primary have an exciting opportunity for an Senior Social Care Officer to join our fab team!
The role will be based at Letham Primary School and this is a fixed term post to 27 June 2025.
The role will involve an allocated case load of children and families who you will be supporting. You will work closely with the Depue Head Teacher and Head Teacher to fulfil statutory duties in relation to child protection.
A significant part of the role will be record keeping, report writing and signposting to services.
In addition to this you will be supporting groups of children over breaks and lunches with a range of activities.
The role will also involve delivering therapeutic support including talking mats, bereavement support etc for individuals.
This is a unique role and one of a kind in Perth & Kinross Council and there is scope for the role to be developed further.
The Individual
We are looking for somebody who enjoys a challenge, has a proven track record of working successfully with children and families, has excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and who can be flexible and adaptable.

You must have the ability to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified timeframe.
