Our clients have nearly 30 years experience in the design of bespoke rugs and flooring products and have now launched their own range of products which they are introducing to the Flooring sector in 2022 and beyond They have various routes to market that they are hoping to expand upon the seeking a dynamic and ambitious Flooring or Interiors sales professional to develop their excellent product range. Our clients have a long and successful track record as Design Specialists to the Flooring and specifically the Rugs Marketplace, they really know their products and offer genuine Rugs as opposed to “cut Broadloom with tassels on” So you will be selling the very best products with an excellent back story as well as incredible and unique pieces. They are seeking a dedicated and hungry Sales professional with a track record of successful sales across multiple fronts and routes to market within the Flooring, or closely associated market. Currently they see their key areas for development as being: Increasing their High End Retail base to around 50 to promote their bespoke offerings via display stands. Targeting Buying Groups. Targeting Key Strategic Large Retail Outlets such as John Lewis / Next etc. Finding Agents with a Portfolio of High End Knotted Rugs. Helping to set up an online retail offering and supporting a new Showroom / Retail offering in Kidderminster too. The Role offers scope for the right candidate to build a long and well rewarded career within our clients business with a view to potentially taking complete charge as this side of the business grows so it would suit a professional with ambition and a broad range of skills to call upon moving forward. Initially, the role as our clients see it will be that of a Business Developer then, you will have worked in a similar environment and sold to a similar customer base with lots of contacts and potential business that you can hit the ground ruining with. A genuine interest in Design and the very best Flooring products will be key as you will be working in an ambassadorial role, this role, certainly initially, is not commodity / price driven, it won’t be FMCG winning an order every call type Representation either, you will be working on specific targets that you will also be helping to identify as part of your role. Personally, you will an ambitious self motivated Sales Professional (the team is small and the operation in its early days on the Manufacturing / Sales side) with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be a confident presenter who is happy to build a sales pipeline and to support the customers as that pipeline starts to produce sales. Well connected with plenty of relevant contacts within their target markets and equally the desire to find more of the right kind to build our clients base.
