Advanced Musculoskeletal Rotational Physiotherapist (Band 7)

If so, come and join the Specialised Therapies team at the University of North Midlands NHS Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic therapist with strong clinical and team working skills. An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a permanent Advanced Physiotherapist to join our wider Musculoskeletal Therapies team. The successful candidate will be in a post which has rotations across the Royal Stoke and County Hospital sites and includes the following specialities:
* In-patient Fractured Neck Of Femur
* Outpatient Trauma and Acute Physiotherapy Staff Service
Supervision will be provided by the Principal Therapists; continuous development is supported through appraisal, internal training and external learning, and you will be supported through our In-house leadership course.
Main duties of the job
You will have the opportunity to work closely alongside your Advanced Occupational Therapy counterparts. This experience will give the post holder an excellent opportunity to continue to develop their leadership and management skills, as well as further building specialised clinical expertise that will enhance and broaden clinical abilities.

The University Hospital of North Midlands is located on 2 hospital sites and has strong links with Keele University through Primary Care Sciences and School of Allied Health Professionals. The post works within a 7-day shift system which includes weekends, late shifts, and bank holiday working.

Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
* Degree/ Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with HCPC.
* Evidence of personal & professional development.
* Working towards a higher qualification relevant to speciality e.g. Master's degree.
Experience
* Post graduate experience (NHS) with considerable experience in speciality area.
* Experience of working as a senior physiotherapist within the speciality area.
* Experience of teaching students, staff & other professional groups.
* Experience of undertaking out of hours working.
* Experience gained within an acute setting.
Skills, ability & knowledge
* Proven leadership and management skills.
* Trained clinical Educator.
* Evidence of project work.
* Ability to travel to and work across multiple sites.
