Social Value Manager - Social Housing Repairs and Maintenance
Based in North West London - Travel around London required
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40 - £50k + package
We are working with a leading Property Services Contractor to recruit a Marketing and Social Value Lead to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position based in North West London.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective communications and marketing campaigns to support key bids and increase brand awareness.
2. Create well-written, informed articles to showcase the Business's people and capabilities and promote across all internal channels and third-party platforms and publications.
3. Engage with Clients, Project teams, Residents, and Stakeholders to manage and implement social value programmes, environmental initiatives, and marketing strategies.
4. Maintain a network of external stakeholders and community partners including charities, training providers, residents, and industry organisations.
5. Represent the company at community, industry, and networking events, including resident engagement, job fairs, charity events, and exhibitions.
6. Monitor and manage the company's external image and raise the profile of the business through successful digital marketing campaigns and social media activity.
7. Conduct market research and report on opportunities to maintain current relationships and build new relationships.
8. Manage and develop the company's charity programme including liaising with charity partners and organising internal fundraising events, such as coffee mornings, quiz nights, etc.
9. Actively promote the company's visions and values both externally and internally to ensure buy-in and support staff morale.
10. Manage corporate branding and company literature to promote the company's image.
11. Support apprentices, workplace schemes, and training in line with the company's commitment, including liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Key Experience:
1. Good communication skills and the ability to work with various colleagues of different levels and roles across the business.
2. Proficiency using office IT applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing software such as Microsoft Publisher / In-Design.
3. Aspiration to continuously be innovative, learn, and develop in the role and company.
4. Social, outgoing personality with excellent public speaking skills.
5. High level of literacy including written communication.
6. Previous experience in digital marketing.
7. Previous experience in corporate social responsibility.
8. Good knowledge of current web technologies and social media.
