Job Title: CNC setter/operator Responsible To: Production supervisor Primary Role As a CNC Setter/ operator you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production schedules. This role requires the ability to work with various types of CNC milling machines, Using measuring instruments to verify part dimensions, and ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. machine tool brands include Mazak, Bridgeport and Brother 5axis and 3 axis. Using Mazatrol, Heidenhain, fanuc controls. Your main responsibilities are Set and operate CNC milling machine tools Set up tooling and fixturing as per set up sheets Monitor tool life Verify standards of manufacture through measuring equipment. Obtain First Off inspection approval for every operation Accurately log operation times in real time of Shop Floor Data Capture system always Work safely and follow all H&S policies and procedures The role is day shift only 7.30 to 4.30 Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 12.30 Fridays. The role would suit someone with a strong background in sub contract CNC manufacturing.
