Do you enjoy providing great customer service? Do you have a flair for sales and some supervisory experience? If so, we have just the role for you. We are looking for a Regional Sales Office Manager to take the reins of our Birmingham and surrounding area sales where you will be managing some of our national clients but also our regional customers.

What will I be doing?
Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers and delivering on our orders, so it’s essential that you can influence branch teams whilst being the face of Travis Perkins to our customers, offering a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic service.
1. Take ownership for quotes/orders from inbound phone calls and make outbound calls ensuring we maintain and follow up all quotations converting enquiries into sales contracts.
2. Maintain a good all-round knowledge of products and services offered by Travis Perkins and have the ability to offer alternatives and associated products to those requested.
3. Work directly with preferred suppliers and manufacturers to source the equipment on behalf of the customer.
4. With your natural organisation skills and love of working collaboratively, you will enjoy taking responsibility and will be confident in taking on a variety of everyday challenges within the regional Sales office, while maintaining great customer and colleague relationships.
5. You will lead, motivate and engage the team to work together as one and to take accountability for success within the new sales office.
6. Coach and mentor direct reports “rising stars” and management apprentices as required.
What experience do you need?
1. Experience within a similar role and in our industry would be advantageous but not essential.
2. Previous experience managing a small team within sales and the ability to lead and motivate is important.
3. We just need transferable skills such as leadership, great customer service, organisation and influencing skills alongside sales experience.
