Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive fire risk assessments in various types of buildings, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed fire risk assessments in commercial, and industrial properties.
Identify potential fire hazards and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
Prepare and present clear, concise reports outlining findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety legislation.
Liaise with clients, building managers, and other stakeholders to provide expert advice on fire safety matters.
Stay updated with changes in fire safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant qualifications in fire safety, such as NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate or equivalent.
Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection advantageous but not essential.
Knowledge of WRA assessments desirable but not essential.
Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments.
Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
