PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We arelooking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join ourteam as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician.The focus of the Senior Reliability Maintenance EngineeringTechnician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies areadhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on timeto a high standard and to provide high levels of equipmentavailability through continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern: This role includes working innon-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights andweekends.
Key jobresponsibilities
• Role model health &safety best practices and monitor those around them to ensure theyfollow the example they set.
• Work in a hands-on mannerand demonstrate SME (Subject Matter Expert) levels of knowledge onall MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in the building.
•Coach and mentor the technicians on shift.
• Support theline manager and to supervise the shift in theirabsence.
• Provide high levels of equipment availabilityto our internal customers by means of troubleshooting andprioritizing.
• Support continuous improvement of systemsin a standard manner across the EU network.
• Develop andmaintain a good working relationship across all levels in theorganization.
• Understanding of OEE (Overall EquipmentEffectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.
•Management ofcontractors.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
• Served a full engineering indenturedapprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 orequivalent (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactoryGuided Learning Hours).
• Multi skilled in bothelectrical and mechanical disciplines with relevant experience inautomation or complex MHE environments.
• Solidfoundational knowledge of PLC based controls systems.
•Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)to plan proactive maintenance and record reactivetasks.
• Knowledge of Statutory Compliancerequirements.
• Ability to communicate (written &verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 orhigher.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
• Proven ability to supervise andinfluence others on the team.
• Proven ability tomulti-task and prioritize many different projects andworkload.
• Experience of multi-contractormanagement.
• Experience in a multi-siteenvironment.
