Salary: £12.40 (per hour)
Based at: Llansamlet, Swansea
Role Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new service providing practical and therapeutic support to children and young people, across Neath Port Talbot and Swansea, experiencing episodes of mental distress in a non-clinical setting. The team will provide advice, guidance and early interventions that aim to keep children and young people accessing the service safe and help to improve their mental wellbeing.
The Support Worker plays a pivotal role in providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people in need. Reporting to the Senior Support Worker, this position is responsible for delivering high-quality support, and contributing to the overall success of the service.
The role of the Support Worker is crucial to ensuring that children and young people receive the appropriate intervention they need during difficult times. This role demands a compassionate and resilient individual who is capable of providing guidance, and advocacy to service users.
