Here at The Everglades Hotel, we are looking for a hardworking Food & Beverage Supervisor to help manage our banqueting operation. This is a part-time role with a 16-hour contract. Hours will be worked around the business requirements. You will assist the General Manager and Assistant Manager and deputise in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deputising in the General Manager and Assistant Manager's absence
2. Ensuring guest satisfaction is the number one priority through all departments
3. Organising and running weddings and other conference and banqueting events
4. Managing the hotel's busy restaurant
5. Ensuring all health and safety, food hygiene, and other company policies are adhered to
6. Training and development of staff members
7. Interviewing and inducting new staff members
8. Management of cellars
9. Stock ordering and control
Previous Experience:
Previous experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment is essential. You will also have good knowledge of conference and banqueting operations. Good communication skills and strong leadership skills are required. You will have a passion for ensuring customers always receive the highest standard of service.
