Location: Inverness Job Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive Benefits About the Role Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their growing team in Inverness. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations. As a Site Engineer, you will be crucial in managing site operations, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, cost-effectively, and to client specifications. You will be responsible for setting out works, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring high standards are maintained throughout each project. Key Responsibilities: Setting up and maintaining site control. Setting out roads, sewers, and structures. Ensuring compliance with project specifications and work standards. Reviewing project designs and specifications. Attending in-house progress meetings and liaising with key stakeholders. Acting as a direct point of contact between the client and the company. Assessing and implementing design changes from the client. Facilitating the agreement of variations. Organising labour, plant, and materials across multiple projects. Conducting land, stockpile, and construction work surveys. Supervising on-site works and ensuring projects meet agreed specifications. Checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings. Providing technical advice and problem-solving on-site.
