Ad Hoc Teaching Assistant – Llantwit Major
Pay: £13.75 per hour or £89.38 per hour
Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting checks)
Contract: Part-time, flexible hours
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as ad hoc teaching assistants. This role involves supporting students in various educational settings, including small groups, full classes, and one-on-one sessions. Adaptability and the ability to work efficiently in different environments are essential.
About the Role:
* Work across multiple schools in the Vale of Glamorgan, providing essential learning support.
* Engage with students to enhance their educational development.
* Build rapport quickly with pupils and staff in different school settings.
* Flexibility is key, as placements may be offered at short notice.
Requirements:
To work in schools, you will need to provide or apply for the following:
Enhanced DBS check
Registration with the Education Workforce Council
Two employment references
Safeguarding Level 2 certification (provided free via Teaching Personnel)
Additional Information:
* Being able to drive is advantageous due to potential travel between schools.
* Work patterns are highly flexible and can be arranged around your availability.
