This role reports directly to the Corporate Reporting Manager, who is UK based.
Focus Areas
Revenue Reporting:
1. Prepare and analyse monthly revenue reporting
2. Investigate and explain revenue variances, providing insightful commentary to management.
3. Develop and maintain detailed revenue reporting models and dashboards.
Deferred Revenue Management:
1. Manage and reconcile deferred revenue balance
2. Analyze deferred revenue trends and provide insights into future revenue streams.
3. Implement and maintain processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of deferred revenue reporting.
Systems and Data Integrity:
1. Maintain and improve existing financial systems and tools used for reporting and analysis.
2. Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
3. Work with the IT team and others around the business to develop and implement data validation checks to enhance the reliability of financial reports.
Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) Process:
1. Support the ARR reporting process, calculating and analysing key ARR metrics.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand drivers of ARR growth or decline.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
1. Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate data in the format that is required.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Respond to ad-hoc requests for financial information from various stakeholders.
2. Support the preparation of reports for external stakeholders, including EQT.
3. Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes and best practices.
Desired skills & experience:
1. Newly qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
2. Experience of Management Reporting within an FP&A team
3. Ability to data mine and analyze large data sets
4. At least an intermediate level of MS Excel (e.g. pivot tables, vlookups)
5. Strong skills in data visualization, Power BI, and/or Anaplan knowledge is a major advantage
