A Surveyor Position for High-Speed Construction Project in Brackley, UK.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to lead land survey operations for a 30-month contract. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of survey equipment and software, as well as strong technical collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
* Lead land survey operations, establishing boundary definitions, gradient measurements, and layout alignment.
* Monitor excavation, filling, and compaction processes to ensure alignment with design specifications and standards.
* Work closely with design and construction engineers to adjust survey data as needed, preventing potential deviations.
* Use advanced survey tools (e.g., total stations, GPS) and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to generate digital models, calculate volumes, and verify data accuracy.
* Supervise junior surveyors, ensuring that all survey tasks meet safety and quality standards; provide ongoing training and support.
* Generate detailed reports on project progress, document any variances, and recommend adjustments to align with site conditions.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years in surveying, within large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
* Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* English (C1 level required) and UK work permit.
* Advanced knowledge of survey equipment and software (e.g., total stations, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
