easyJet are now recruiting for our 2025 Ex Military B1 and B2 Licence Engineer programme in Aeronautical Engineering.

For our 2025 Ex Military B1 and B2 Licence Engineer programme in Aeronautical Engineering we are looking for dedicated and highly driven individuals who have the enthusiasm to continue a career within aircraft engineering. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO SEE?
1. Over a 1 year programme you will complete a 135-day instructor-led UK CAA Part 66 CAT B1.1/B2 modular training.
2. You will join our teams in Luton or Gatwick for on the job training to build your practical experience.
3. You will be supported throughout all phases of the programme, securing UKCAA Part-66 Category B1 or B2 modules.
4. You will gain practical training and experience in the Part-145 which enables a basic licence application after 1 year.
5. Your passion will be turned into practical experience in an exciting live environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop all of the key skills required to continue your career in aircraft engineering.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. A minimum of six years military service with demonstrable aircraft maintenance experience.
2. You must hold a valid passport to be able to travel unrestricted across our network and successfully pass a CRB check.
3. Ability to hold CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft.
4. Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation.
5. Proven and demonstrable operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
6. Proven ability to communicate issues to management.
7. High degree of customer focus – both internal and external.
8. Able to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, in all levels of the organisation.
9. Willingness to be flexible in order to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems and embrace change and drive improvements within the business.
10. Demonstrate a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
11. Demonstrate proficiency in IT.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This role is a 12 month Fixed term contract. You will initially be classroom based for 3 months, you will then rotate within the 145 working NNNN 10.75 hour shifts. 4 off 4 on.
